Is The Revolution Coming?

This Washington Times editorial takes a look at a recently released Army contingency plan for using force against "tea party" activists who have taken over a South Carolina town.

Here is the actual document from the Army's TRADOC command that outlines what they see the Army doing between 2016 and 2028.  Part of it specifically deals with "homeland security" actions that are currently outlawed under the Posse Commitatus acts.

Think The Economy Is Getting Better?

Reuters put out this story that reveals that five of the largest banks in the US were told by Federal Reserve regulators to make plans for dealing with their own collapse, without government help.  This all came to light from a FOIA request that the Fed answered with more than 5,100 pages of redacted information.

I have a relative that retired as the CEO of a pretty large regional, multi-state bank in another part of the country.  In a note, I wished him well in his retirement and semi-tongue in cheek mentioned that it was a good time to get out of the banking business... before the revolution started.  I've since heard through second hand information that he and his wife may have left the big city and moved to a very small town in a rural area of another state where they have no familial or other connections.  If true, that could be a further indicator that things are much worse than we are led (or allowed) to believe.

Another Mass Killing

I'm sure you know about the 19 Christians that were killed this past Monday as they gathered in the Deeper Life Church for Bible study...  by the three men who wielded full-automatic AK47s while a fourth cut the power to the church?  Oh, you hadn't heard about it?  Neither had I until I stumbled on the story accidentally.  Seems it just isn't much of a news story when it happens in Nigeria and it doesn't fit the mold of what "THEY" want us to know.

  1. I used to laugh at you and Stacy about "the flag going up" and the "war beginning". Not too much to laugh about now. If American citizens don't start standing up for this country, it will collapse upon itself. The scariest implication of your post, the government controlled media controlling what we "know". It is sad that you have to "dig" for other news.

I am considering addressing the balance of what the public knows versus what they should know in one of my posts. You and I both know there were several occasions in a past life where we withheld information about happenings where we worked. I know that I have continued that practice because I don't know if I trust the citizenry enough to apply the information appropriately and not just panic. Thoughts?

    1. Tim - we need to chat in person... soon. On a side note, it's the balloon that goes up, not the flag :-)

    1. Warlock - I can think of a lot of places I would rather engage than the good folks of SC.

  3. the rev part deu is coming, only god knows how it will turn out. victory and a new government by the people or wholesale slaughter by the .govs. i've asked many police and military friends which way they will go. most say they won't take up arms against the people, but when the chips are down who knows? i know at least one guard unit that won't, if they are even in the country at the time. i think tptb's mistake will be two-fold. first they will expect the milpo to disarm us. this failing, they will resort to u.n. troops and that will be their undoing. many folks are unwilling to buck the milpo, but the u.n. troops have no such protection and even may provide a long awaited outlet for the average joe's frustration. i'm praying tptb make that mistake rather than nickel and dime us into slavery. on mclaughlin this a.m. that liberal "journalist" said "we can all agree on the fact that there is no place for ak47's with large magazines in civilian hands." really, how about garranteeing you the right to flap your lips in ignorance? two diametrically opposed societies cannot continue to exist in the same space.like athens and sparta, we must divide or destroy each other.......on the economy, well they just closed ANOTHER plant nearby, several hundred jobs gone. i've been hunting a job myself. i find plenty of burgerflipping jobs. mostly though i find jobs that combine labor and executive levels of management for laborer wages. it'll be like: whatever assistant- moves big boxes of stuff, cleans warehouse, drives forklift, manages 30 personel including scheduling, workman's comp, budget analysis, grant management, etc etc. They have GOT to be kidding! for 8.50 an hour? i did all that in the DoD, but i made 30.00 an hour.

  4. RR - I agree we are in for a world of hurt as a nation. I think a lot of police will do the right thing, but I really worry about the ones in the huge, major cities. With the military, I think they will be split. A lot of troops will never take up arms against their fellow Americans, but a fair number are probably chomping at the bit for the "action" no matter who the targets are. I think Reserves, Guard units, and the "elite" units will be more likely to defend than oppress.

    1. d, i agree with your analysis completely. the army leadership is split now, along political lines. i saw it in the va guard as well. the current fed administration has systematically replaced the top generals with flaming liberals.they will follow whatever executive order potus chooses. from colonel on down, not so much.
